The B.LEAGUE has officially announced that the B.LEAGUE AWARD SHOW 2025–26 will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Tokyo Garden Theater in Koto-ku, Tokyo.

The annual ceremony recognizes the top performers across Japan’s professional basketball league, including players, coaches, clubs, and referees who have excelled throughout the season.

Now established as one of the league’s key annual events, the award show continues to highlight the achievements and stories that define each B.LEAGUE season.

Major awards and Asia quota recognition take center stage

The B.LEAGUE AWARD SHOW features several major honors, including MVP, Best Five selections, and other individual and team awards that reflect outstanding performances throughout the season.

One of the highlighted distinctions is the IMPRESSIVE ASIA PLAYER OF THE YEAR award, introduced two years ago to recognize the best-performing player under the Asia Special Quota system. Last season, Ray Parks Jr. of Osaka Evessa received the honor, further elevating the award’s significance among international fans.

This season’s edition will once again spotlight top Asian quota players, drawing attention from both domestic and overseas audiences as the league continues to expand its global reach.

“WE GO ON” theme reflects league’s next chapter

The theme for the 2025–26 ceremony is “WE GO ON,” reflecting the league’s continued growth since its launch in 2016. Over the past decade, the B.LEAGUE has produced more than 6,000 competitive games and countless defining moments that have shaped its identity.

Rather than marking an endpoint, the league positions this milestone as a starting point for its next evolution, especially with the upcoming introduction of the B.PREMIER system next season.

The upcoming award show will be staged on its largest scale yet, promising enhanced entertainment and a celebration of the league’s journey and future direction.
