The Professional Fighters League returned to Chicago on Saturday, April 12, delivering a stacked night of action inside Wintrust Arena.
In the main event, Mitch McKee made a major statement by defeating top-ranked Sergio Pettis to remain undefeated. The two-time NCAA Division I All-American relied on his elite wrestling to control the fight and neutralize Pettis across three rounds.
Pettis struggled to impose his striking as McKee consistently dictated positioning and pace. The dominant performance earned McKee a unanimous decision victory and likely pushed him into the Top 10 rankings.

The co-main event featured a high-level grappling battle between Raufeon Stots and Renat Khavalov. Both fighters showcased their skills in scrambles and positional exchanges throughout the contest.
Khavalov survives late scare to stay undefeated
The biggest moment came late in the fight when Stots landed a powerful knee that briefly dropped Khavalov. Despite the momentum shift, Khavalov’s earlier rounds secured him the unanimous decision win.
Khavalov remains undefeated and continues to rise as one of the division’s top contenders following the gritty performance.
Viviane Araujo impressed in her PFL debut with a composed showing against Shanna Young. The veteran gradually pulled away over three rounds, displaying control and efficiency.
All three judges scored the bout 30-27 in favor of Araujo, marking a successful start to her run in the promotion.

Braga rallies after early pressure to secure win
Gabriel Braga overcame early adversity against Cheyden Leialoha in their featherweight clash. Leialoha used grappling to slow Braga early, but the Brazilian adjusted as the fight progressed.
Braga found his rhythm in the later rounds, landing the cleaner shots and controlling exchanges to secure a unanimous decision victory.
The scheduled middleweight bout between Jordan Newman and Josh Silveira was canceled after Newman withdrew from the contest.
The preliminary card featured multiple finishes, including quick knockouts and submissions that energized the Chicago crowd.
