BRAVE Combat Federation has confirmed the return of reigning light heavyweight champion Erko “The Bounty Hunter” Jun, who is set to step back into the cage on Saturday, June 6, at Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana, Slovenia as part of a collaboration with World Freefight Challenge. The announcement outlines when and where the Bosnian star will compete again, marking a key moment for the 205-pound division.

Jun, known for his knockout power and aggressive style, is making his comeback after time away from competition, aiming to reassert his dominance under the BRAVE CF banner. He emphasized that his preparation has been focused on growth and evolution as a mixed martial artist ahead of the highly anticipated return.

“I have been waiting for this opportunity to return and showcase my evolution as a mixed martial artist,” Jun said. “Every day in training has been dedicated to refining my craft, and now it is time to deliver.” He added that he is eager to perform again at the highest level inside the BRAVE CF cage.

Jun eyes stronger reign at light heavyweight

Jun’s return follows his most recent outing in June 2025, when he moved down a division to challenge Mohammad Fakhreddine for the vacant BRAVE CF Middleweight World Title at BRAVE CF 96. The bout represented an attempt to become a two-division champion, further elevating his status within the promotion.

Prior to that fight, Jun had established an unblemished record in BRAVE CF, securing three consecutive knockout victories that highlighted his finishing ability and rising star power. His run quickly positioned him as one of the most dangerous fighters on the roster.

A defining moment came in September 2024 at BRAVE CF 88, where he stopped Alexander Wesner in the fourth round to capture the vacant light heavyweight title. That victory cemented his place at the top of the division and set the stage for his continued reign.

Returning to his primary weight class, Jun is now focused on reinforcing his standing as champion and extending his dominance at 205 pounds.

Heavyweight title fight adds stakes to Slovenia card

The June 6 event in Ljubljana will also feature a BRAVE CF Heavyweight World Championship bout, adding further significance to the card alongside Jun’s return. Reigning champion Pavel “The Experiment” Dailidko is set to defend his title against top-ranked contender Miha Frlic in a high-stakes matchup.

The inclusion of a heavyweight title fight strengthens the overall lineup, positioning the event as one of BRAVE CF’s most anticipated shows of the year. With multiple championship implications, the card is expected to draw significant global attention.

Details regarding Jun’s opponent have yet to be announced, with further updates expected in the coming weeks as the promotion finalizes the fight lineup.
