Farm Fresh offense overwhelms Akari defense
Royse Tubino led the charge with 21 points, earning Best Player of the Game honors through consistent attacking. Trisha Tubu added 19 points, while Ces Molina chipped in 18 to power the Foxies’ offense. Their combined output proved too much for Akari to contain.
Farm Fresh dominated the attack department, finishing with 64 points compared to Akari’s 45. The Foxies also capitalized on errors, converting 25 points off miscues while limiting their own to 17. This efficiency created separation across multiple sets.
Alohi Robins-Hardy orchestrated the offense with precision, tallying 19 excellent sets. Her playmaking consistently opened clean hitting lanes for Farm Fresh’s attackers. The balanced execution kept Akari’s defense off-balance throughout the match.
Foxies close strong as Akari fades late
Akari showed resistance in the third set, avoiding a sweep with a narrow win built on strong net defense. Eli Soyud and Ivy Lacsina delivered key blocks to extend the contest. The Chargers briefly regained momentum with that effort.
However, Farm Fresh quickly reasserted control in the fourth set. The Foxies surged to an early lead and never allowed Akari to recover. Their aggressive approach and disciplined floor defense shut down any comeback attempt.
Tubu spearheaded the finishing run, delivering powerful attacks in crucial moments. The Foxies also benefited from consecutive Akari errors that widened the gap late. The match ended in one hour and 52 minutes with Farm Fresh firmly in control.
Eli Soyud led Akari with 17 points, while Ivy Lacsina added 15. Fifi Sharma and Ced Domingo combined for 17 markers, but their efforts fell short against Farm Fresh’s sustained pressure.
