Filipino mixed martial arts fans will see Stephen “The Sniper” Loman and Drex “The T-Rex” Zamboanga compete on the same BRAVE CF card in 2026. Both fighters are among the promotion’s most prominent Filipino signings. They aim to showcase the country’s pride on an international stage.
Loman said he had never had the chance to fight on the same card as Zamboanga before. “Now that we are both here, I hope we can showcase Philippine pride together,” he said. Zamboanga added that the opportunity is a chance for Filipino fans to celebrate their homegrown stars.

Loman’s championship legacy
Stephen Loman debuted on BRAVE CF’s first card in September 2016 and quickly built an undefeated 6-0 record. He captured the inaugural Bantamweight World Championship in November 2017 with a first-round technical knockout of Gurdarshan “Saint Lion” Mangat. Loman defended the belt four times, including a victory over former featherweight champion Elias “Smile” Boudegzdame at the Mall of Asia Arena in 2019. He returned to the promotion at the end of 2025 after a four-year hiatus.
“The return marks full Filipino representation in BRAVE CF, and I could not be more excited,” Loman said. His career has made him one of the country’s most decorated MMA athletes.
Zamboanga’s rise and Filipino representation
Drex Zamboanga signed with BRAVE CF in February 2025. Known as “The T-Rex,” he carries a 14-6 record with 11 finishes. He first rose to prominence as the URCC bantamweight champion and later secured international wins against Detchadin Sorsirisuphathin, Rahul Raju, and Adonis Sevilleno.
Zamboanga said BRAVE CF is a platform for Filipino fighters to gain exposure and elevate their careers. “Stephen and I are ready to show that the Philippines belongs on the international stage of mixed martial arts,” he said. The two are expected to compete on the same card in the second quarter of 2026.
