Borislav Nikolić dominated BRAVE CF 104 on February 14, leaving Matheus Malta unconscious in front of a roaring Belgrade crowd. But the Serbian champion’s mind was already on bigger stakes: a potential clash with Muhammad “The Punisher” Mokaev.
The reigning BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion delivered a walk-off knockout that reminded fans why he is one of the promotion’s deadliest competitors. From the moment Malta hit the canvas, Nikolić’s focus shifted to the unfinished business with Mokaev.
“This is the moment I expected him to appear,” Nikolić said after the fight, smirking. “Where are you now? I am right here.”

Rivalry reignited after BRAVE 100
Their feud traces back to BRAVE 100 last November. Nikolić had just defended his bantamweight crown against Hamza “Pride of Bahrain” Kooheji when Mokaev, fresh off winning the inaugural flyweight title, entered the cage to confront the Serbian.
Mokaev’s bold declaration to move up and challenge Nikolić for the bantamweight strap sparked excitement for a potential champion-versus-champion bout. Nikolić has made it clear he is ready for the showdown.
“I respect what he has done. But if he wants to move up and test himself, I am ready. Just tell me the time and the location. I will be there. A champion does not hide,” Nikolić stated.
Every challenger welcomed
While fans dream of the super-fight, Nikolić’s schedule includes other high-stakes challengers. No. 2 contender Lasha Abramishvili has three consecutive finishes in the bantamweight division and is eyeing a title shot.
Former champion Stephen “The Sniper” Loman returned to BRAVE CF in December 2025 and is expected to compete in the second quarter of 2026.
“I am a fighting champion. It does not matter if it is Mokaev, Abramishvili, Loman, or anyone else. I will defend my belt against the best. That is what BRAVE champions do,” Nikolić affirmed, embracing every challenge.
