PFL Africa Season 2 will officially kick off on Friday, April 10, 2026 at SunBet Arena in Pretoria, South Africa, as announced by the Professional Fighters League. The event marks the promotion’s return to the continent and will feature athletes from more than 10 African nations alongside international contenders.
The bantamweight showcase bout between reigning champion Nkosi “King” Ndebele and Italy’s Michele “The Arrow” Clemente will headline the card. In the co-main event, South Africa’s Justin Clarke faces Senegal’s Abdoulaye Kane in a heavyweight clash as both fighters look to strengthen their standing early in the season.

Ndebele headlines return in front of home crowd
Nkosi Ndebele enters the main event with an 11-3 professional record and a perfect run inside the PFL Africa circuit. He captured the inaugural bantamweight title after knocking out Boule Godogo in last year’s finals and now competes in front of his home supporters in Pretoria.
Standing 5-foot-10 with a 75.5-inch reach, Ndebele has secured wins by knockout and submission across multiple promotions. He aims to extend his momentum against a seasoned international opponent as Season 2 begins.
Michele Clemente brings a 7-1 record into the 135-pound contest, with his lone defeat coming by submission in 2019. The 35-year-old Italian has won four consecutive bouts since 2022, including a June 2024 submission victory over Aleksandar Coti, positioning him as a credible challenger.
Heavyweights seek statement win in co-main event
Justin Clarke enters the heavyweight matchup with a 4-1 record and seeks to rebound from his loss in the PFL Africa heavyweight final last season. Competing on home soil, he aims to reestablish himself as a top contender in the division.
Abdoulaye Kane carries a 5-1 record into the bout and is pursuing a third straight knockout victory. The matchup places two powerful heavyweights on a prominent stage as they attempt to build momentum at the start of PFL Africa Season 2.
“PFL Africa reflects the ambition, energy, and identity of the continent,” said Elias Schulze, General Manager of PFL Africa, emphasizing the league’s role as both a sporting and cultural platform. Tope Lawani of Helios Investment Partners added that the inaugural season confirmed Africa’s strength in mixed martial arts and reaffirmed continued investment in developing talent.
Additional fights for the first-round card will be announced in the coming weeks, with broadcast details to follow. Tickets will be sold exclusively through TicketMaster beginning February 19, 2026 at 9 a.m. South African time.
