A new study by JustGamblers.com reveals the most and least expensive NFL teams to support on game day. The research analyzed tickets, beer, food, and parking data to determine the total cost for fans attending games during the 2024 season.
The San Francisco 49ers rank tenth, with fans spending an average of $233.13 per game. While their $142.63 ticket is the lowest among the top 10 teams, parking at $70 and stadium food and drink prices increase the overall cost.

The priciest NFL teams for fans
The Detroit Lions top the list at $327.93 per game, driven by a $253.69 ticket and $60 parking fee. The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears come in second and third with $296.38 and $281.29, respectively.
Other costly teams include the Las Vegas Raiders at $279.82, Kansas City Chiefs at $274.06, and Philadelphia Eagles at $262.92. The Buffalo Bills, Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, and San Francisco 49ers complete the top 10, each with total costs exceeding $230 per fan.

The most affordable NFL experiences
At the opposite end, the Tennessee Titans offer the cheapest game day experience at $107.15, less than a third of what Lions fans pay. Arizona Cardinals ($107.67), Jacksonville Jaguars ($124.68), Indianapolis Colts ($126.60), and New Orleans Saints ($127.61) round out the five least expensive teams.
Jesper Kärrbrink, Director at JustGamblers.com, noted that for a family of four, attending a Lions game versus a Titans game could cost over $800 more. The study also highlights that team performance does not always correlate with game day expenses, making budgeting crucial for fans.
