Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines gears up for Asia eSports GT Championship 2025

Team Philippines is set to compete at the Toyota Gazoo Racing Asia eSports GT Championship 2025, happening on Sunday, November 23, at Toyota Alive Space in Bangkok, Thailand. Fans can watch the livestream on Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines’ Facebook page and YouTube channel starting at 6:00 PM local time.

Team Philippines drivers

Victor Ancheta, 25, from Baguio City, claimed the TGR Philippines eSports GT Championship title after consistent performances in the qualifiers, quarterfinals, and semifinals. Ancheta’s strong showing in the national finals placed him first overall.

Fifteen-year-old Enzo Ison of Lubao, Pampanga, is the youngest on the team but brings notable experience, including Junior Class Championships in 2022 and 2023. He topped the local qualifiers and quarterfinals, finished third in the semifinals, and secured second place in the national finals.

Matthew Ang, 23, from Makati City, returns to the Asia Finals stage after previous successes, including second place in the 2022 Promotional Class and third overall in 2023. This season, Ang placed second in the qualifiers, quarterfinals, and semifinals, ending third in the national finals.

Event highlights and TMP’s commitment

The TGR Asia eSports GT Championship offers sim racers a competitive platform to hone their skills and gain exposure to international competition. In the Philippines, TMP has been hosting the event since 2020, creating pathways for top players to transition from virtual racing to real-life motorsport through the TGR Philippine Cup.
