The Spikers’ Turf Invitational Conference returns Wednesday, November 12, with a packed four-game schedule, bringing all eight teams back to the court at Paco Arena in Manila. Fans can expect nonstop volleyball action from morning to evening, with key matchups shaping the race for the semifinals.

Unbeaten Criss Cross and defending champion Cignal aim to tighten their grip on semifinal berths, while the rest of the field battles to keep their postseason hopes alive following Sunday’s postponed games due to Typhoon Uwan.

League leaders Criss Cross target another step toward semis

The spotlight will shine on a classic matchup of experience versus youth when league-leading Criss Cross King Crunchers face the FEU-DN Steel Tamaraws at 5 p.m. Criss Cross, holding a perfect 4-0 slate, relies on seasoned campaigners Jude Garcia, Jaron Requinton, and Kim Malabunga to secure a crucial win that could edge them closer to the Final Four. Depending on other results throughout the day, victory might even guarantee their semifinals spot.

FEU-DN Steel, with a 1-3 record, leans on its promising young core led by Dryx Saavedra, Luis Miguel, and Lirick Mendoza. A defeat would all but end their semifinal hopes in this edition of the tournament organized by Spikers’ Turf and supported by Alpha Insurance, Premiere EMS, Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things, and Arena Plus.

Meanwhile, defending champion Cignal (4-1) seeks to strengthen its semifinal positioning or even lock it with a win against UST-Gameville at 3 p.m. The Super Spikers will once again depend on the trio of Jay Rack Dela Noche, JP Bugaoan, and Louie Ramirez for leadership on the court.

UST-Gameville Golden Spikers (3-1) are equally eager to maintain pressure on the leaders. With Josh Ybañez, Edriel Alabar, and Al-Bukharie Sali spearheading the offense, a win today could push them closer to the semifinals and tighten the race for a top-four finish.

Early matchups set the pace for the day

The day begins at 10 a.m. with Savouge Aesthetics (3-2) taking on winless PGJC-Navy (0-4), followed by Alpha Insurance (2-2) battling VNS (0-4) at 1 p.m. The quadruple-header sets up a marathon of volleyball where each team’s performance will influence semifinal seeding and playoff momentum.

Fans at Paco Arena can expect a mix of thrilling rallies, emerging stars, and the intensity that defines the Spikers’ Turf Invitational Conference as it moves closer to the decisive stages.
