PFL MENA Semifinals set with champions colliding in Riyadh

The 2025 PFL MENA Season enters its all-important semifinal stage tomorrow with PFL MENA Semifinals: Champions Collide live from The Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The card features reigning champions and top regional talent fighting for a place in this year’s finals.

In the main event, 2024 PFL MENA Welterweight Finalist Mohammad Alaqraa (8-1) of Kuwait returns to action against Ayman “The Maestro” Galal (4-1, 2 NC) in a welterweight semifinal clash. Alaqraa tipped the scales at 170.4 pounds, while Galal came in at 169.6.

The co-main event showcases 2024 PFL MENA Lightweight Champion Mohsen “The Golden Boy” Mohammadseifi (8-2) of Iran, who is aiming for back-to-back finals appearances. He faces undefeated Iraqi contender Mohammad “Soulkeeper” Fahmi (5-0). Mohammadseifi weighed in at 155.4 pounds, while Fahmi hit the lightweight limit at 156.

Saudi talent featured as showcase bouts highlight card

Saudi Arabia’s Malik Basahel (1-0) will look to remain unbeaten when he takes on Egyptian Ahmed “Ninja” Mostafa (3-1) in a flyweight showcase bout. Basahel weighed in at 125.2 pounds, with Mostafa at 126.

The card also features crucial semifinals across the Bantamweight, Featherweight, Lightweight, and Welterweight brackets, with winners advancing to the season finals. The amateur flyweight showcase between Hamad Marhoon and Ibrahim Chelabi was cancelled after Chelabi missed weight.
