Alex Lohoré refuses to name Eliezer Kubanza ahead of BRAVE CF 94 in Switzerland

The heat in BRAVE Combat Federation’s super welterweight division just went nuclear. On Thursday 15 May fight fans were stunned when a video dropped on the official BRAVE CF Instagram featuring Alex Lohoré. But instead of calling out top contender Eliezer Kubanza the veteran striker delivered a cold dismissal that raised eyebrows and lit a fire under a growing rivalry.

Does he have followers Do people know him around the world What does this fight do for me Lohoré asked bluntly. I do not have a lot of years left in my career so I only want big fights. That fight is not a big fight. The guy does not have a following. No one knows the guy. That is why I will not mention his name. I will let you guys mention his name.

The rivalry brews between two of Africa’s top MMA stars

With that Lohoré lit the match on a war of words that has been simmering quietly in African MMA. Representing Ivory Coast with a 25 and 11 record Lohoré is now 2 and 0 in BRAVE CF finishing both opponents in the first round. This Saturday 17 May at BRAVE CF 94 in Switzerland he returns to face the dangerous Mansur Abdurzakov. But even as he focuses on Abdurzakov the shadow of Kubanza continues to grow.

Eliezer Kubanza is undefeated at 7 and 0 with six wins by knockout. After a dominant showing at BRAVE CF 91 he claimed the top contender spot in the division. Though Luiz Cado currently holds the belt fans and fighters alike are watching the Lohoré vs Kubanza storyline closely. For many this is the real fight to make.

Still Lohoré refuses to budge. Eagles do not fly with pigeons he said when asked about Kubanza in a past interview. The only time I would fight him is if it is for a title.

Now rumors are swirling that Kubanza may be in attendance at BRAVE CF 94 in Switzerland. If true the possibility of a face-to-face moment between the two could explode into something more. It would be the next chapter in what could become one of the biggest all-African showdowns in BRAVE CF history.

After the unforgettable Nkosi Ndebele vs Nicholas Hwende clash at BRAVE CF 91 fans are hungry for another continental collision. Ivory Coast vs Democratic Republic of Congo is the kind of high-stakes match that puts African MMA on the global map.

So what happens next If Lohoré wins again with a finish does BRAVE CF give him the title shot or do they finally pull the trigger on Lohoré vs Kubanza A fight years in the making fueled by pride ambition and raw talent

Whatever happens one thing is clear The world may be watching BRAVE CF 94 for the scheduled fight but the real fireworks could come outside the cage.
