The win improved PLDT’s record to 2-2. It also set up a win-or-go-home clash with Creamline on Sunday at the Big Dome.

Davison’s Big Night Powers PLDT’s Rally

Savi Davison exploded for 32 points to lead PLDT’s comeback. She added four kill blocks and closed the match with a clutch kill on her second attempt.

Davison also logged a triple-double on the night. She finished with 10 excellent digs and 14 receptions to go with her scoring outburst.

Davison credited team communication for the turnaround. “I think we talked in the dugout before and last night as well coming off a loss, and we kind of really needed to check in for this game today because it was a must-win for us,” she said.

“So I’m just glad that everyone came ready today to play, and we, you know, we got it done,” Davison added. She then turned her focus toward Sunday’s showdown with Creamline.

Farm Fresh Puts Up a Fight Before Falling

Farm Fresh refused to fade in the third set. Royse Tubino and Ces Molina delivered clutch plays to extend the match.

The Foxies built an early 8-4 lead in that frame. PLDT tied it at 13, but Molina’s kill at 24-23 forced a fourth set.

Kim Dy backed up her 25-point game against Ho Chi Minh with 15 points and four blocks. Molina added 12 points, while Tubino chipped in 11.

Kim Fajardo ran PLDT’s offense with 26 excellent sets. Alohi Robins-Hardy, in her return to Farm Fresh, managed just nine.

Farm Fresh drops to 1-3 and closes its campaign against Nxled on Sunday. PLDT, meanwhile, braces for a title-or-bust test against Creamline.
