The NBA Rising Stars Invitational 2026 is set to return to Singapore from Monday, June 22 to Sunday, June 28, bringing together top high school basketball teams from across the Asia-Pacific region. The week-long tournament will take place at the OCBC Arena and will feature both boys’ and girls’ divisions.

Organized in collaboration with Sport Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board, the event will showcase 12 boys’ teams and 12 girls’ teams composed of players aged 18 and under. The competition will begin with a round-robin format before advancing to a single-elimination stage to determine the champions.

The event will be headlined by NBA champion Jeremy Lin and WNBA champion Lauren Jackson, who are set to interact with participants and contribute to development programs throughout the tournament.

Regional talent takes center stage

Teams participating in the NBA Rising Stars Invitational 2026 will be selected through partnerships with national federations and qualifying tournaments held in key cities including Bangkok, Melbourne, Taipei, and Tokyo. Host nation Singapore will field two teams in each division.

Beyond competition, the event will focus on player development, with participants taking part in skill sessions, social impact programs, and cultural exchange activities. Top performers will also have opportunities to attend future NBA development camps and showcases.

Additional current and former NBA players are expected to join the event, with announcements to be made closer to the tournament dates.

Fan activities and global exposure

The NBA Rising Stars Invitational 2026 will also feature fan-focused activities designed to engage audiences of all ages. These include community outreach programs, meet-and-greet sessions, exclusive clinics, and interactive experiences featuring NBA memorabilia and live entertainment.
