Alohi Robins-Hardy orchestrated the offense with 16 excellent sets, guiding Farm Fresh’s balanced attack. Her steady playmaking kept Nxled off rhythm throughout the match.
Farm Fresh responded strongly after a previous setback, showing improved chemistry and sharper decision-making. Their composure allowed them to seize control early and maintain pressure throughout.
Foxies take control after brief third-set scare
Nxled briefly led 8-6 in the third set, but Farm Fresh responded with a decisive 9-0 run after the technical timeout. That stretch completely shifted momentum in favor of the Foxies.
From that point on, Nxled could not recover as Farm Fresh tightened its defense and capitalized on transition opportunities. The Chameleons struggled to regain rhythm under pressure.
An injury to Myla Pablo further disrupted Nxled’s efforts, limiting their offensive options. Despite efforts from Brooke Van Sickle and MJ Phillips, consistency remained elusive.
Balanced attack seals semifinal berth
Trisha Tubu led Farm Fresh with 12 points, while Ces Molina added 10 and Ara Galang contributed nine in a balanced offensive effort.
Riri Meneses anchored the net defense with three kill blocks, helping shut down Nxled’s attacks at key moments. Royse Tubino sealed the win with the final finishing point.
Farm Fresh outperformed Nxled in attack points, 47-36, while also capitalizing on errors that proved costly for the opposition. Nxled’s 20 unforced mistakes played a major role in the result.
With the win, Farm Fresh advanced to the PVL All-Filipino Conference semifinals, strengthening its status as a legitimate title contender moving forward.
