The National University pair finished the tournament undefeated, reinforcing their status as one of the most consistent duos in the competition.

Toos and Cordero complete undefeated title run

Toos and Cordero secured the crown with a 21-13, 21-23, 15-11 victory over Villapando and Eslapor in a tightly contested final that required a deciding set. The NU pair had also beaten the same opponents on opening day, completing a flawless 6-0 run in the tournament.

Villapando and Eslapor, both members of a SEA Games gold medal-winning squad, forced a third set after capitalizing on attacking opportunities in the second frame. However, Toos and Cordero regained control early in the decider and never surrendered momentum.

They jumped to an 8-3 lead and extended it to 13-8 before Toos delivered the championship-clinching attack. The final stretch showcased their ability to execute under pressure and close out tight matches when it mattered most.

For Cordero, the victory marked a significant milestone as she secured her first BVR on Tour title since her 2023 Sipalay triumph. The win also highlighted her continued growth in the beach volleyball circuit alongside emerging partner success.
