Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) will once again serve as the official medical partner for the 2026 MPTC Tour of Luzon, set from April 29 to May 13. The 14-stage race returns bigger than last year, featuring more routes and international participants.
CSMC will deploy two fully equipped ambulances, each staffed with two Emergency Medical Services teams and a dedicated trauma doctor. Hospital partners along the race route will also provide medical assistance to ensure riders’ safety throughout the event.

Renewed partnership and commitment to athlete safety
Tour of Luzon CEO Arrey Perez and CSMC President and CEO Raul Pagdanganan formalized the renewed partnership in a signing ceremony at the hospital’s Greenhills facility in San Juan City. Perez said the collaboration “goes beyond the race column—it’s about showcasing the Philippines’ ability to host a premier sports event with care and excellence.”
Pagdanganan added, “Through our partnership with the MPTC Tour of Luzon, we contribute our expertise in emergency and trauma care to safeguard athletes who inspire communities across the country.” The medical teams will remain on standby along the course to respond to high-speed racing incidents.
