Tots Carlos has been named the PVL Press Corps Player of the Week presented by Pilipinas Live for March 3 to 7. The 27-year-old opposite has rediscovered her rhythm after months of recovering from a knee injury.

Carlos back in top form

“I would say na mas gumaan na ‘yung feeling kasi ‘yun nga, grateful ako kay Coach na binigyan nila ako ng time na makarecover. Alam naman ni Coach na pag okay na ako, babalik ako. Masaya lang ako na may ganong klaseng support,” Carlos said.

The veteran opposite highlighted how exciting it was to return to high-pressure matches. “It was exciting also, kasi it’s been a while since I experienced yung ganong experience din, so natutuwa ako na naexperience ko siya ulit, magkakasama kami na talagang nilaban namin lahat,” she added.

Carlos emphasized how important composure is in tense situations. She credited Creamline’s coaching and her personal focus for helping her perform consistently under pressure.

“Ako personally, meron akong sariling goal and sariling reason going to the game. Natuwa ako na na-experience namin ‘yung ganong scenario na kasi nga sila coach laging sinasabi na pag sumobra naman kami sa gigil, hindi makakatulong sa amin, composure lang talaga and ‘yun nga, trabaho lang,” she said.

Recognition among peers

Carlos edged teammate Jema Galanza, PLDT’s Savi Davison, Choco Mucho’s Sisi Rondina, Cignal’s Vanie Gandler, and Akari’s Ivy Lacsina for the weekly citation. The award underscores her resilience and leadership on the court.

Her recognition comes after she delivered strong performances that combined scoring, digs, and steady playmaking. It highlights her value not only as a scorer but also as a stabilizing presence for Creamline.

Carlos said the award motivates her to continue improving and supporting her team. She hopes her performances inspire her teammates and demonstrate that recovery from injury is possible with patience and focus.
