Thrilling matchups highlight Asia Cup competition
The FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup 2026 continues its legacy as a fan-favorite event, now in its fifth consecutive year in Singapore. This year will feature 46 national teams from Asia and Oceania, with Australia defending its title in both men’s and women’s categories.
Local interest is high, with Singapore drawn into the same pools as Japan for both divisions. The men’s team aims to build on its 2025 quarter-final appearance. The women’s team is eager to make a mark on the international stage. Fans can expect competitive games and memorable performances.
Top international teams are also expected to deliver thrilling action. In the men’s Main Draw, defending champion Australia faces the Philippines in Pool D. In the women’s Pool B, Australia and China will renew their rivalry following a closely contested semi-final last year.
Singapore’s players will rely on momentum from recent SEA Games and Commonwealth Games qualifications. The teams are motivated to compete at their best and inspire local fans with every possession.
Tickets, access, and fan experience
Early bird season passes for both events are available from February 24 until March 3, with a 30 percent discount. Fans can choose a pass for both events or a pass covering the Asia Cup weekday matches.
Regular ticket sales for both events begin on March 4, including premium hospitality packages for select categories. The first session of the Asia Cup Qualifying Draws on April 1 and 2 is free, with seating on a first-come-first-served basis. Children under four years old also enjoy free entry if they do not occupy a seat.
Event organizers highlight the historic nature of hosting the World Cup Qualifier alongside the Asia Cup. “We are proud to bring the local and international basketball community together through these world-class 3×3 events,” said Yazed Osman, Group Head of Events & Placemaking, The Kallang Group. Fans can expect thrilling action and a platform for emerging local players and officials.
