Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas Executive Director Erika Dy said Manila Hustle has become the benchmark for women’s basketball outside national team competitions. “Women’s basketball in the Philippines is heard about globally because of the hustle,” Dy added.

Players praised the platform for professional and personal growth. Gilas Pilipinas Stars center and two-time UAAP MVP Kacey Dela Rosa described the experience as humbling and empowering, noting the skill and competitiveness of teammates and opponents alike.

Uratex Dream guard and #1 ranked PH 3v3 player Kaye Pingol emphasized that Manila Hustle gives local teams exposure to international competition and showcases women’s talents in a sport often dominated by men.

The tournament also served as a qualifier for the FIBA Women’s Series Shanghai Stop, allowing athletes to measure themselves against top international competition while representing Filipino basketball on a global stage.
