ONE Championship closes out 2025 this weekend at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, and three Filipino bantamweight MMA fighters have shared their views on the explosive main event that could reshape the division.
ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video features reigning ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Fabricio “Wonder Boy” Andrade defending his throne against #4-ranked challenger “The Tormentor” Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu of Mongolia. Fans expect a stylistic clash that could redefine the bantamweight division.
Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw of Lions Nation MMA, who lost to Andrade via knockout in 2022, is backing the Brazilian champion to retain his belt, highlighting Andrade’s refined skillset as the deciding factor.
“Both athletes are exceptionally well-rounded in striking and on the ground. I lean toward Andrade because his timing and precision stand out, but I have great respect for Baatarkhuu’s explosiveness, strength, and athleticism,” Pacatiw said. “May the best man win, and may both athletes compete safely.”

Team Lakay’s Jhanlo Mark Sangiao sees the fight as a genuine toss-up, noting both men have clear paths to victory. Sangiao, who lost to Baatarkhuu in 2023, predicts either a knockout for Andrade or a submission win for the Mongolian.
“The Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu fight is gonna be a good match. Fabricio is an explosive striker and very tactical in the standup game, and he’ll face Enkh-Orgil, who’s a strong grappler with a big tank—he can grapple for five rounds,” Sangiao said.
Fighter stats and finishing ability
Andrade has a 7-0 record (1 no contest) in ONE Championship, including five knockouts and one submission. His striking has proven devastating at bantamweight, with opponents struggling to solve his timing and power.
Baatarkhuu owns a 6-1 promotional record with three submissions and one TKO and recently gained recognition as a finalist on Netflix’s Physical: Asia for Team Mongolia. His grappling credentials are elite, and his endurance makes him a nightmare matchup for any striker.
Filipino fighters weigh in on the showdown
Team Lakay’s Carlo Bumina-ang, who also lost to Baatarkhuu, didn’t pick a winner but promised fans a memorable fight. “Dangerous striker against a tremendous grappler. This is going to be a battle for greatness,” he said.
Fans can expect an explosive clash in Bangkok, with Andrade’s precision and Baatarkhuu’s grappling power set to define the bantamweight division’s next chapter.
