Eligibility and approvals

After months of uncertainty due to shifting player eligibility rules, the SBP submitted the finalized roster to the local organizing committee. The list has been fully vetted and pre-approved, clearing all compliance requirements.

The SBP expressed gratitude to the players for prioritizing national duty and thanked partners from the PBA, UAAP, NCAA, and Japan’s B-League for releasing their athletes for international competition.
