Farm Fresh confirmed its rise as a legitimate contender in the PVL Reinforced Conference with a 25-21, 25-22, 21-25, 28-26 win over Petro Gazz. The victory earned the Foxies a quarterfinal berth and showcased their growing composure in high-pressure moments.

The match, played on Tuesday, November 11, highlighted Farm Fresh’s poise and discipline. Trisha Tubu attacked fearlessly while Eli Rosseaux scored 31 points. Setter Alohi Robins-Hardy orchestrated the offense with timely feeds and crucial attack points that helped seal the win.

Foxies demonstrate contender maturity

Farm Fresh’s cohesion and confidence were evident throughout the match. Tubu tallied 14 points, Ces Molina added 10, and Lorene Toring and Rizza Cruz combined for 13. The team outpaced Petro Gazz in attacks, 68-54, and Robins-Hardy delivered 21 excellent sets.

Molina and Alyssa Bertolano anchored the backline with strong digs and receptions. Their defensive work helped offset disadvantages in blocks and free points. The Foxies’ serve, floor coverage, and transition offense were sharper than in previous matches.

The win came just days after a victory over Choco Mucho, showing that Farm Fresh is building momentum and playoff readiness. Rosseaux credited focused practice sessions for the improved serve and defense. The team now enters the knockout rounds with confidence and cohesion.

Petro Gazz faces a tighter playoff race

Petro Gazz fell to 3-3, heightening the stakes for its remaining elimination games. Lindsey Vander Weide and Brooke Van Sickle led the Angels with 16 points each. MJ Phillips and Ranya Musa added 13 and 10 points.
