BRAVE Combat Federation weigh-ins deliver drama as title fights locked in and Fakhreddine ruled out

BRAVE Combat Federation finalized weigh-ins for its landmark BRAVE CF 100 event in Bahrain, confirming two world title fights but losing one of its biggest storylines after a medical withdrawal.

Bantamweight champion Borislav Nikolić stepped on the scale at 61 kilograms and looked sharp ahead of his first world title defense. Challenger Hamza Kooheji, representing Bahrain, came in at 61.2 kilograms, making the main event official and setting up a high-stakes clash for hometown fans.

Flyweight contenders Muhammad Mokaev and Gerard Burns also made weight without issues, coming in at 56.3 and 56.6 kilograms respectively to finalize a championship bout featuring rising talent with global momentum.

Meanwhile, the event lost one of its most compelling angles after three-division hopeful Mohammad Fakhreddine did not appear due to medical restrictions. His absence canceled a planned interim title fight and sent shockwaves through the card.

Fakhreddine withdrawal forces cancellation of interim title fight

Alex Lohoré was ready for action at 78.8 kilograms but declined a replacement opponent following Fakhreddine’s ruling, officially ending the bout. The decision halted Fakhreddine’s bid for BRAVE Combat Federation history and reshuffled a card built around milestone moments.

The cancellation marked the only major setback on an otherwise smooth weigh-in day, leaving fans to shift their focus to the championship double-header that remains intact.

One fighter misses weight as elite lineup moves forward

The rest of the roster made weight with only one exception. Bahatebole Batebolati missed the limit for his matchup with Rasul Magomedov, triggering a catchweight bout and a purse deduction. All other bouts are confirmed, locking in eight fights for Friday’s event at Khalifa Sports City.
