Tom McKibbin kept control of the Link Hong Kong Open leaderboard after following his record-setting 60 with a five-under 65 today at Hong Kong Golf Club. The Northern Irish standout moved to 15-under and will take a two-shot cushion into the weekend.

McKibbin remains bogey-free through 36 holes and once again looked sharp as he continued his aggressive approach. His opening round set a new course record, and his calm follow-up only strengthened his position atop the field.

Uihlein, Kiradech, and Jazz stay in pursuit

Peter Uihlein stayed in the hunt after a roller-coaster 63 that included nine birdies and a triple bogey late in the round. Kiradech Aphibarnrat carded a 65, while Jazz Janewattananond fired a 66 to share second place, two shots behind the leader.

Uihlein, still aiming for his third International Series victory, shrugged off the late stumble and remains confident after surviving what he called a rough driving day. Kiradech mixed an eagle with six birdies, while Jazz remained steady throughout to stay firmly in contention.

McKibbin keeps momentum after historic start

McKibbin, who plays for Jon Rahm-led Legion XIII on LIV Golf, continues to chase his first Asian Tour and International Series win after earning his first European Tour victory two years ago. The 22-year-old stayed consistent with two birdies on the front nine and a three-birdie run on the back, noting that he plans to keep pressing aggressively over the weekend.

Charles Howell III climbed with a 62, while Louis Oosthuizen and Thomas Pieters posted matching 66s to sit a shot further back in a crowded leaderboard.
