Tops Mordeno finally broke into the win column in the PYBC Under-13 with a 70-64 victory over EMDS Rizal Knights at the Villar Coliseum in Las Piñas.
Leading the way was PalawanPay Player of the Game Tobby Mordeno, who scored 18 points with five steals and two assists. Rich Bautista added 12 points, six assists, five rebounds, three steals, and two clutch baskets down the stretch to seal the win.
“Hindi po namin hinayaan na matalo kami sa depensa. Doon po talaga kami namuhunan,” said Mordeno.
Despite Matthew Paraiso’s monster performance of 21 points, 24 rebounds, 10 steals, and six assists, the Knights dropped their second straight game in the U13 division.

Other U13 action
Smile 360 Bullies staged a comeback from a 21-point deficit to beat GTG Foundation Los Baños, 73-67. A balanced attack led by Coi Aver Moncal (14 points), Carl Rose Rodil (12 points), Oscar Bagion (11 points), and Cristhop Calvero (10 points) powered the Bullies to their third win in four games.
Los Baños struggled despite Kurt Andrei Martinez’s 22 points, 13 steals, four rebounds, and four assists, with nine turnovers proving costly.
Jet’s Barbershop also notched a win in the U13 division, defeating JPB-TEC San Beda, 83-68. Patrick Tumbaga and Bennett Buenafe each scored 15 points as Jet’s improved to 3-1, while San Beda dropped to 1-2 despite Andre Kitong’s 21 points and 15 rebounds, and Cristoff Layco’s 20 markers.
Under-15 and Under-11 highlights
In the U15 division, Prime Ascension Medical Supplies San Anton dominated Migueluz Trading Mordeno, 113-68, behind Thadeus Angeles’ 22 points. Rye Villaruz scored a game-high 24 points for Mordeno, who fell to 0-3.
Migrafix Doc Boleros defeated JMTG Medical Trading Infinite, 103-91, led by Khryz Alexandr Samson’s 27 points and seven steals, with Eiron Ramos adding 21 points, eight rebounds, and six steals. JMTG remained winless despite Allain Escober’s 21 points and Ezekiel Baladjay’s 20 markers.
In U11 action, Buena Foods JSKLLBBLDVT stayed perfect with an 81-65 win over Converge Super Fiber x Coach T. Dlare Simbulan recorded 14 points, 12 rebounds, seven steals, and three assists. Converge’s Yuan Adane posted 19 points and 16 rebounds in their first loss after two wins.
Taho Story Sigma crushed Lev Construction Full Potential, 75-25, with Glenn Mabulac scoring 18 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Lev Construction suffered their third straight defeat.
The Spartans completed the U11 round with an 83-65 win over RWE Jaba Medical. Christian Emmanuel Tan scored 21 points and Christian Jacob Tan 15 points, giving their team a 3-1 record. RWE fell to 0-3 despite strong performances from Axel Arciaga (16 points) and Kean Estrada (15 points, 22 rebounds).
