Borislav Nikolić will defend his BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Title against Bahrain’s Hamza Kooheji on Friday, November 7, at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town. The Serbian fighter claimed the championship at BRAVE CF 96 by submitting Nicholas Hwende. Kooheji, the local favorite and No. 2-ranked contender, will have the support of the home crowd.

Nikolić welcomes the challenge of fighting in an opponent’s backyard. He expects the audience to be fully behind Kooheji. Instead of intimidation, he plans to turn the crowd’s energy into motivation throughout the fight.

The champion emphasizes that success inside the cage depends on focus and execution, not comfort or the cheering fans. His preparation is designed to maintain composure and exploit opportunities, regardless of the environment.

Nikolić embraces the challenge of defending his title in enemy territory.

Focus, mindset, and preparation

Nikolić adopts the mindset of a contender despite being the champion. He concentrates on gaining every advantage, rather than protecting his title, keeping his edge razor-sharp.

Facing Kooheji in Bahrain is both a tactical and mental test. Nikolić seeks to combine poise and skill to impress fans and earn respect. “I’m here to win them over as well,” he said, highlighting the importance of performance and sportsmanship.

The Serbian champion views this defense as a chance to reinforce his legacy. He plans to demonstrate that champions can thrive even in hostile territory. His approach blends discipline, strategy, and confidence to meet the high stakes of BRAVE 100.
