The PhilCycling National Championships for Road 2026 will take place from February 17 to 20 next year, the International Cycling Union (UCI) announced recently on its website. The national championships will once again use a technical course anchored in Tagaytay City, with surrounding municipalities in Cavite’s Eighth District and Batangas’ First District serving as major routes.
The annual road event will serve as one of the highlights of the country’s cycling calendar and will lead into the 2026 Asian Track Championships scheduled in late March.

It will be the first time in 31 years that the Philippines hosts the Asian track championships. The last time was in 1995, when the country staged both the Asian Road and Track Championships at the Amoranto Velodrome in Quezon City and in Subic. The Amoranto Velodrome has since been demolished to make way for a football pitch.
