Before BRAVE Combat Federation plants its flag in Vilnius, Lithuania for BRAVE CF 99 on October 18, the promotion is looking back on the momentum built from its last two events. Over a span of two weeks, BRAVE CF 98 in Zhengzhou, China, on September 19, and BRAVE CF: GEORGIA VS. THE WORLD in Tbilisi on October 3 showcased elite talent ready to challenge for world titles.

Among the standout athletes, Omar Solomanov, Rauli Tutarauli, Nicholas Hwende, and Lasha Abramishvili delivered statement victories that reshaped multiple divisions and set the stage for high-stakes clashes in the months ahead.

Solomanov rises to interim gold as Tutarauli makes history

In Zhengzhou, Omar Solomanov of Ukraine captured the BRAVE CF Interim Featherweight World Championship with a tactical masterclass over Rauan “Shymyr” Bekbolat. Over five rounds, Solomanov used suffocating grappling to control the pace, neutralizing Bekbolat’s offense en route to a unanimous decision win. His next step is clear: a title unification bout with reigning champion Nemat “Eagle” Abdrashitov, a matchup already being billed as one of the most technical in BRAVE CF featherweight history.

Two weeks later in Tbilisi, hometown hero Rauli Tutarauli electrified the crowd at BRAVE CF: GEORGIA VS. THE WORLD by overpowering Pieter “The Archangel” Buist to claim the BRAVE CF Interim Lightweight World Title. Relying on relentless wrestling and top control, Tutarauli came close to finishing the fight with an arm-triangle choke in round two before sealing a dominant decision. He now targets undisputed champion Abdisalam Uulu “Omok” Kubanychbek in a rematch with both revenge and gold on the line.

Hwende’s resurgence and Abramishvili’s thunderous finish

Also at BRAVE CF 98, former bantamweight king Nicholas Hwende returned to the spotlight in a new division. Moving up to featherweight, Hwende outworked hometown favorite Xie Bin with relentless pressure and sharp striking, scoring a unanimous decision victory. While his experiment at 145 pounds was successful, Hwende’s focus remains on regaining the bantamweight title from reigning champion Borislav Nikolić.

In Tbilisi, Lasha Abramishvili delivered one of the most dramatic moments of the night with a first-round knockout of Khurshed Nazarov. A perfectly timed right straight sent Nazarov crashing to the canvas before a flurry of hammerfists forced a stoppage with one second left in the round. The emphatic finish catapulted Abramishvili into the bantamweight title picture, joining Hwende as a top contender.

As BRAVE CF heads to Vilnius, these performances from BRAVE CF 98 and the Georgian showcase have set the tone for a thrilling end to the 2025 season, with multiple divisions now primed for unification bouts and high-stakes title eliminators.
