BRAVE Combat Federation will plant its flag in Georgia for the first time on Friday, October 3, with a high-stakes card headlined by Rauli Tutarauli’s clash against Pieter “The Archangel” Buist for the interim lightweight championship at the Tbilisi New Sports Palace.

The event, titled Georgia vs the World, is the centerpiece of the fifth edition of BRAVE International Combat Week and features nine bouts pitting homegrown talent against seasoned international names.

Tutarauli carries Georgian pride into the main event

Tutarauli, ranked No. 1 in the lightweight division, enters the cage as the face of Georgian MMA, tasked with bringing a world title home against the veteran Dutchman Buist. The fight symbolizes more than just a championship—it is the culmination of years of growth for the country’s MMA scene.

“Every bout was built to showcase the country’s brightest talents against some of the toughest international names,” said BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid. “This is more than just a fight card; it’s history in the making with a world title on the line.”

Abramishvili, Khan and Atanasov add intrigue to undercard

In the co-main event, Georgian bantamweight Lasha Abramishvili faces Tajik contender Khurshed “Good Boy” Nazarov in a fight with title implications. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Ismail “The Volcano” Khan collides with Elmir Jafarov of Azerbaijan in a catchweight showdown that traces the IMMAF-to-BRAVE pathway for rising athletes.

Bulgarian flyweight Nikolay Atanasov also makes his BRAVE CF debut, eager to prove himself on the same stage where his former amateur rival, Muhammad Mokaev, once shined.

Despite the postponement of Olympian Beka Ghviniashvili’s debut and Vazha Tsiptauri’s anticipated clash with Amir Malekpour, the card remains stacked with matchups designed to spark fireworks.
