Fabian Edwards secures stunning main event finish

In the main event, Fabian Edwards (16-4) claimed the Middleweight World Tournament Championship with a highlight-reel knockout of Dalton Rosta (11-2). Rosta pushed the pace early with takedown attempts and clinch pressure, but Edwards fought back with effective striking. After two competitive rounds, the Birmingham native took over in the third, landing a sharp elbow, a punishing body kick, and a devastating head kick to seal the win at 1:28 of the round.

The victory not only secured Edwards the championship but also echoed the signature knockout style of his brother, UFC star Leon Edwards, cementing his place as one of PFL’s brightest champions.

Popov and Carlos Jr. earn championship gold

In the co-main event, Russia’s Oleg Popov (22-2) edged Moldova’s Alexandr Romanov (19-4) in a grueling five-round heavyweight clash. Popov started strong with leg kicks and pressure, while Romanov responded with clinch control and knees in the middle frames. After a back-and-forth contest, the judges awarded Popov a split-decision win (49-46, 48-47, 47-48) to claim the Heavyweight World Tournament crown.

Earlier in the night, Antonio Carlos Jr. (19-6) became the Light Heavyweight World Tournament Champion by defeating Sullivan Cauley (8-2). Both fighters exchanged heavy shots in the first round, each scoring knockdowns. However, momentum swung in the second after a cut and eye poke break. Carlos Jr. capitalized with a takedown and locked in a rear-naked choke at 3:44, securing the win and a $500,000 prize.
