The 2025 PFL World Tournament Finals brought fireworks to Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, where three new champions were crowned across Lightweight, Bantamweight, and Women’s Flyweight divisions.

Alfie Davis, Liz Carmouche shine in main event and co-main

In the main event, Alfie Davis (20-5-1) shocked 2024 Lightweight Champion Gadzhi Rabadanov (26-5-2) to claim the 2025 PFL Lightweight World Tournament Title. Their clash featured sharp striking, relentless grappling, and razor-thin scoring, with all three judges awarding Davis a unanimous 48-47 decision. “The Axe Man” walked away with the crown after a performance defined by precision and composure.

Liz Carmouche (25-8) added another milestone to her career, capturing the 2025 PFL Women’s Flyweight World Tournament Championship. Facing Jena Bishop (9-3), the veteran survived a deep submission scare in the second round before landing a devastating left hook in the third. The knockout blow led to a TKO finish at 2:56 of the round, solidifying Carmouche’s dominance.

Alves claims bantamweight crown as Watley returns with TKO

Marcirley Alves (15-4) and Justin Wetzell (12-3) delivered a tactical war in the Bantamweight final. Wetzell’s ground-heavy approach clashed with Alves’ sharp striking, but it was the Brazilian who rose to the occasion. Securing key takedowns and maintaining control, Alves earned a unanimous decision win and a $500,000 prize.

The main card also featured Robert Watley (16-3) making a successful return with a third-round TKO over Mads Burnell (20-8). Early card action saw victories from Juliana Velasquez, Biaggio Ali Walsh, Sabrina De Sousa, Renat Khavalov, Chris Mixan, and Damion Nelson.

The 2025 PFL World Tournament concludes on August 21 at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, airing on ESPN, ESPN+, and DAZN.
