The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has unveiled PFL Rewards, a next-generation global fan loyalty platform powered by tech innovator Futureverse. Designed to redefine MMA fan engagement, the new platform is integrated into the official PFL app, available on iOS and Android worldwide.

Fans in over 160 countries can now join a centralized digital hub where they earn points for everyday interactions—downloading the app, streaming fights, making predictions, or watching highlights. These points can be redeemed for exclusive rewards, including merchandise, event tickets, and VIP access.

MMA’s first large-scale blockchain-integrated loyalty program

The initiative marks the PFL as the first major MMA organization to launch a fan engagement platform fully integrated with web3 technology, built on The Root Network—Futureverse’s Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure. The aim is to transform passive viewing into active participation, rewarding fans for consistent engagement and building deeper connections year-round.

“PFL is redefining what it means to be a modern sports league,” said Mike Chioditti, PFL’s SVP of New Business. “With Futureverse’s technology, this platform gives our audiences a destination every day of the year, not just fight night.”

Futureverse CEO Aaron McDonald highlighted that sports fandom now extends beyond physical venues, saying, “We’re creating a real-world example of how sports organizations can bring fragmented audiences into a unified, gamified experience.”

LiveLike partnership boosts personalized fan experiences

PFL partnered with LiveLike, a global leader in fan engagement, to shape the strategy and lead development of PFL Rewards. LiveLike, whose clients include LIV Golf, Chelsea FC, and the New York Mets, specializes in AI-powered platforms that turn fan behavior into personalized and gamified experiences.

“PFL is pioneering a new era of fan engagement—one where interactivity, loyalty, and real-world value are seamlessly integrated,” said LiveLike CEO Miheer Walavalkar.

The app will continue evolving with future updates, including digital collectibles, token-gated commerce, ticketing, and custom experiences, ensuring fans have multiple ways to engage both online and at exclusive invite-only events.
