Scott Vincent delivered a composed and clinical performance to win the US$2 million International Series Morocco by four strokes, wrapping up the title Sunday at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam. The Zimbabwean held off a fast-finishing Danthai Boonma and closed with a three-under-par 70 for a four-day total of 14-under 278.
The 33-year-old Vincent hit 17 greens in regulation, with his only blemishes being two three-putt bogeys. He maintained his lead throughout the final round despite pressure from Boonma, Peter Uihlein, and others. A strong finish with three birdies over the final four holes—including a 20-footer on the 18th—sealed his second Asian Tour victory.

Vincent rises to top of Asian Tour Order of Merit
Vincent’s win, his second in the International Series after his triumph in England in 2022, vaulted him to No. 1 on the Asian Tour Order of Merit and No. 2 in the International Series Rankings behind Lucas Herbert. It also marked his eighth top-12 finish in 11 worldwide starts this season—a remarkable bounce back after losing his LIV Golf card last year.
“This is incredible,” Vincent said. “I didn’t know where I stood most of the day. I felt like I missed so many birdie chances, but I just kept my head down and focused on the next shot. When I looked up and saw a three-shot lead on the 18th, it felt amazing.”
He credited a clear game plan, mental discipline, and the support of his childhood friend and caddie Kyle Basson for the victory. “You can’t avoid bogeys out here, but I just focused on executing each shot. This kind of week doesn’t come around often.”
Boonma charges but falls short; Uihlein fades again late
Thailand’s Danthai Boonma made an early move with a superb six-under 66, including a near-eagle on the drivable par-4 17th. His strong round put pressure on the leaders, but ultimately he finished four behind Vincent.
“I just kept going shot-by-shot. The birdie on the par-3 second gave me momentum,” said Boonma.
American Peter Uihlein, who was within a shot after three birdies on the front nine, stumbled again over the closing stretch. He carded a 71 and dropped to a tie for third with Denzel Ieremia and Maverick Antcliff at nine-under. Uihlein lamented a pattern of late-round mistakes: “The last five holes just beat me up this week. I made 20 birdies and only shot nine-under.”
Other strong finishers included Austen Truslow, who birdied his final three holes to claim solo sixth, and Paulina Wisniewska, who captured attention in the women’s flyweight showcase at the same event venue.
The next International Series event will be the Indonesian Masters at Royal Jakarta Golf Club from October 2 to 5.
