The Pacific League of Legends (LCP) is the youngest in the League of Legends esports structure, making its development particularly exciting. In the 1xBet review, our experts will analyze the events and results following the second split of this Asia-Pacific division.

Regular season

The LCP 2025 Mid Season group stage was held from April 19 to May 23 at the LCP Arena in Taipei, Taiwan. Four partner teams (CTBC Flying Oyster, Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS, GAM Esports, and TALON) and four invited squads (Chiefs Esports Club, DetonatioN FocusMe, Secret Whales, and Vikings Esports) took part in the second split of the current season.

In the first match, CTBC Flying Oyster, the previous split winners, faced the runners-up from TALON and won in an equal fight with a score of 2-1. No one managed to defeat the Flying Oyster, as they finished the group stage with an impressive record of 7-0. Secret Whales secured second place, losing only their opening and final clashes (5-2). TALON concluded the regular season with the same score, but worse game statistics relegated them to third place.

Based on the season’s outcomes, GAM Esports (4-3), Vikings Esports (4-3), and SoftBank HAWKS gaming (2-5) also made it to the playoffs. Meanwhile, DetonatioN FocusMe (1-6) and Chiefs Esports Club (0-7) dropped out of the competition, completely repeating their disappointing results in the first split.

Playoffs

The final stage of the LCP 2025 Mid Season started on May 30 and concluded on June 8. In the first round, GAM Esports beat Vikings Esports, and TALON defeated SoftBank HAWKS. The remaining matches were conducted in a double-elimination format, allowing each losing team another opportunity to compete for the title.

Season leaders, CTBC Flying Oyster, sent GAM Esports to the lower bracket (2-1) and then beat TALON (3-2) in a tough fight to reach the grand final in the upper bracket. GAM Esports defeated Secret Whales and TALON, both with a score of 3-1, advancing to the grand final in the lower bracket.

It was like a ping-pong affair, with neither squad able to achieve two consecutive victories. However, in the decisive fifth round, CTBC Flying Oyster emerged stronger, defeating GAM Esports 3-2. The title of Finals MVP was deservedly awarded to Oyster’s support, Ling “Kaiwing” Kai-wing.

Split results

CTBC Flying Oyster triumphs in the regional split for the second time in a row – this spring, they beat TALON in the decisive clash of the LCP 2025 Season Kickoff.
