Lazy King headlines PFL Europe Nantes homecoming in September

Abdoul Abdouraguimov will finally fight at home as PFL Europe Nantes lands in France on September 26. The event will take place at Zenith Nantes Metropole and marks the third new city for PFL Europe this 2025 season.

The main event features Abdouraguimov, famously known as “Lazy King,” returning to the cage in front of his hometown fans for the first time. Riding a nine-fight win streak, the fan-favorite will face an opponent to be announced in the coming weeks.

Abdouraguimov to lead first Nantes event in his career

The 19-1 standout is known for his elite grappling and showman personality, delivering seven stoppages in his last nine wins. Abdouraguimov expressed excitement, calling it the perfect time to “entertain at home” with what he calls the “next Lazy Show.”

PFL CEO Pete Murray noted the importance of bringing major events to new cities and praised Abdouraguimov as a true star deserving of a home spotlight. He also teased a talent-packed card that will showcase some of France’s best fighters.

Semifinal matchups to decide title challengers

The card will include the semifinal rounds of the 2025 PFL Europe Lightweight and Bantamweight tournaments. Winners will advance to the PFL Europe Championship in Lyon on December 13, where $100,000 and divisional titles are at stake.

PFL Europe Nantes will stream live and exclusively on DAZN in France, UK, and Ireland. U.S. fans can access the event through PFL’s new app, continuing the league’s global expansion and digital integration.
