The Philippine Sports Commission will host the 2025 International Sports Facilities Management Conference and Tradeshow from May 28 to 31 at the iconic Rizal Memorial Coliseum. The four-day event aims to advance the country’s sports development through sustainable, safe, and globally competitive facilities.

With the theme “Elevating Sports Excellence through Sustainable and Safe World-Class Facilities,” the conference reflects PSC’s progressive push in modernizing the nation’s sports infrastructure. The event brings together global and local experts to share insights on innovation, safety, and environmental management in sports venues.

Leading the panel of speakers is Taras Mukovoz of FIFA, who will share best practices on venue operations and large-scale event management. Experts from private sectors and agencies including the Department of Energy, DENR’s Environmental Management Bureau, and the Office of Civil Defense – NDRRMC will also present.

The initiative is supported by the national government and brings together over 300 local officials from across the country. The PSC continues to showcase recent infrastructure upgrades, including its FIFA-certified football field, retrofitted baseball stadium, improved sports museum, and athlete dormitories.

A show of support and innovation for Philippine sports infrastructure
Senators Christopher “Bong” Go and Pia Cayetano—long-time PSC advocates—will attend alongside LGU leaders for a walk-through of the facility’s new developments. The event is co-presented by Sports Expo Philippines and 833 Marketing and aims to promote long-term excellence in the country’s sports facility management.

The Rizal Memorial Sports Complex serves not only as a heritage site but now as a symbol of transformation, hosting one of Southeast Asia’s most anticipated sports infrastructure events in 2025.
