Al Ahli Tripoli delivered a dominant performance to secure their place in the 2025 BAL Playoffs with a 102-73 win over MBB on the final day of the Nile Conference. Jaylen Adams spearheaded the effort with 28 points on 9-of-15 shooting as the Libyan powerhouse shot 50 percent from the field in a commanding victory.

MBB’s Teafale Lenard Jr. finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds while Pieter Prinsloo added 11 points, but they couldn’t keep pace with Al Ahli’s balanced and efficient offense. With the result, Al Ahli Tripoli ends the group stage unbeaten and heads into the playoffs with strong momentum.

APR survives thriller to complete playoff cast

APR sealed the final playoff berth in dramatic fashion with a nail-biting 77-74 win over Nairobi City Thunder. Aliou Diarra powered APR with 22 points, 17 rebounds, and eight blocks in a monster effort, while Youssoupha Ndoye added 18 points and eight boards to help control the interior.

The game went down to the wire, with Obadiah Noel sinking a clutch three-pointer in the closing seconds to seal the deal. Nairobi’s Onyango Odero scored a game-high 29 points in a valiant effort, while Uchenna Iroegbu and William Davis II combined for 30 points, but the Kenyan side came up just short.
