PFL announces explosive 2025 semifinals at Wintrust Arena, Chicago

The Professional Fighters League today announced a stacked fight card for the 2025 PFL World Tournament Semifinals set for June 27 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. The event will feature high stakes bouts in the heavyweight light heavyweight and middleweight divisions as well as a bantamweight showdown between former teammates and Bellator champions Sergio Pettis and Raufeon Stots.

Headlining the card is a middleweight semifinal between Fabian Edwards and Josh Silveira. The co main event features a light heavyweight clash between Phil Davis and Sullivan Cauley. The other middleweight semifinal bouts include a rematch between Aaron Jeffery and Dalton Rosta along with Antonio Carlos Jr facing Simeon Powell.

The heavyweight semifinals round out the tournament action with Valentin Moldavsky taking on Alexander Romanov and Oleg Popov facing Rodrigo Nascimento.

Additionally Chicago born lightweight prospect Biaggio Ali Walsh returns to fight fellow local Ronnie Gibbs in a matchup of undefeated fighters. This battle of hometown pride adds extra excitement for the crowd.

Three alternate bouts will begin the card on ESPN plus featuring middleweights Jordan Newman and Khalid Murtazaliev lightweights Rafael Xavier and Karl Albrektsson and heavyweights Sergei Bilostenniy and Karl Williams.

Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster ranging from fifty to three hundred fifty dollars. The 2025 PFL World Tournament airs live on ESPN platforms in the United States Canada and Europe and is streamed globally in 190 countries.

The annual single elimination tournament features fighters across eight weight classes competing over five months. Fighters must win three fights in five months to become the PFL tournament champion and earn a share of over twenty million dollars in prize money including a five hundred thousand dollar bonus for each winner.

The semifinals will be three five minute rounds while the finals are scheduled for five five minute rounds. All fights now allow the use of elbows adding to the intensity of the competition.
