Elite Local Fighters to Compete in PFL’s Win-and-Advance Format
The inaugural PFL Pacific Tournament will debut in 2026 and feature four live events showcasing top regional fighters in high-stakes single-elimination brackets. Athletes will compete for significant prize money and the chance to join PFL’s elite global talent roster.

The league aims to crown more Australian MMA champions than any other promotion within the next three years. PFL’s proven tournament format provides a pathway for local fighters to ascend rapidly on the international stage.

Stan Sport to Stream All PFL Content Exclusively in Australia
Stan Sport will stream all PFL events live and on-demand, while premium events will also be available via Stan Pay-Per-View. Meanwhile, select fights and highlights will stream free on 9Now and air on the 9Network, offering unmatched accessibility to the Australian public.

This comprehensive distribution strategy is expected to fuel MMA’s growth across Oceania and bring global MMA stars directly to Australian homes.

Road to Dubai: Oceania Set to Host Global PFL Champions Series
Alongside the PFL Pacific Tournament, the region will host events from the PFL Champions Series: Road to Dubai, which showcases the world’s top fighters. These premium live events will bring both rising and established MMA talent to the Oceania stage.

Together, these initiatives create a full-spectrum platform for athlete development, international exposure, and fan engagement across Australia and New Zealand.

PFL and Stan Leaders Highlight Long-Term Growth Vision
PFL CEO Peter Murray emphasized the league’s mission: “With the launch of PFL Pacific, we’re building a foundation for long-term growth and aiming to crown more Aussie champions than any other league over the next three years.”

Stan Acting Managing Director Dan Taylor added, “As Australia’s only locally owned streamer, we’re proud to help power that growth from the ground up. PFL Pacific gives the next generation of Aussie fighters a world-class platform to shine.”
