FundLife’s Move for Equity campaign mobilized more than 1,300 Filipinos to run 130,000 kilometers in March 2025 in solidarity with girls facing barriers to safety, education, and opportunity. The nationwide campaign empowered participants to “Move for Every Girl Who Can’t,” combining sport with advocacy for gender equity.
The initiative, run in partnership with Girls Got This and ON Running, inspired daily 3.8-kilometer runs, symbolizing a commitment to dismantle inequality. It culminated in high-energy community runs on March 9, with 203 people running in Tacloban and 480 joining Makati’s Ayala Avenue celebration of International Women’s Day.

Campaign Sparks Movement, Awareness, and Action Across the Philippines
Led by Executive Director Marko Kasic, FundLife created a powerful movement beyond exercise—encouraging community, dignity, and dreams for every girl. “Move for Equity is not just about running—it’s about building a world where girls feel seen and unstoppable,” said Kasic.
Social media echoed the call for change, generating nearly 375,000 engagements through stories shared by 22 campaign influencers. Ambassador Dana Lora embodied the campaign’s message, completing her 3.8 km daily to honor girls still waiting for access to their rights.
Media and Community Power the Success of Move for Equity
Partnerships with 91.1 Love Radio, SJTV Tacloban, 98.3 Magik FM, and 104.7 Dream Radio SIKAT broadened the campaign’s reach. These collaborations elevated the national conversation around gender equity and the importance of safe, inclusive environments for young girls.
FundLife will continue its momentum with “Move for Play” this June, aligning with the UN Day of Play. This next campaign will encourage people to move in support of every child’s right to play and thrive—extending the spirit of solidarity sparked by Move for Equity.
