The 2025 PFL World Tournament 4 brought a high-octane night of MMA action to Universal Studios Florida, as four fighters each in the Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight divisions advanced to the June Semifinals.
Former Bellator champions clashed with rising PFL stars, and veterans proved their mettle under the bright lights of the tournament format that rewards finishes, resilience, and dominance.
Phil Davis vs. Rob Wilkinson: A Comeback with Authority
In the evening’s main event, Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis (25-7, 1 NC) proved why he remains a force in the Light Heavyweight division. After a cautious opening round against 2022 PFL Champion Rob Wilkinson (19-4, 1 NC), Davis exploded in Round 2, overwhelming the Australian striker with a barrage of punches that led to a referee stoppage. The NCAA wrestling legend advances to the Semifinals, where he will face Sullivan Cauley (7-1) in what promises to be a collision of power and experience.
Moldavsky Outduels Bilostenniy in All-Russian War
The co-main event delivered a grueling three-round battle between former Bellator Interim Heavyweight Champion Valentin Moldavsky (14-4) and fellow Russian Sergey Bilostenniy (13-4). Both men pushed a relentless pace rarely seen in the heavyweight ranks. While Bilostenniy landed more overall strikes, Moldavsky’s grappling control and heavy shots swayed the judges in his favor.
With the win, Moldavsky now moves on to face Moldova’s Alexandr Romanov (19-3) in the June Semifinals.
Shoeface Returns to Form Against Karl Moore
Brazil’s Antonio Carlos Jr. (17-6, 2 NC) leaned on his world-class grappling to stifle former Bellator title challenger Karl Moore (12-4). Despite a third-round surge from Moore, “Shoeface” controlled much of the bout and earned a split decision, marking his eighth win in nine fights. He now faces Simeon Powell in the Semifinals.
Simeon Powell Rallies to Stop Albrektsson
2023 PFL Europe standout Simeon Powell (11-1) once again showed why he’s one of the most dangerous prospects in the division. After a slow start against Karl Albrektsson (14-7), Powell unleashed a series of brutal elbows in the second round, dropping the Swede and forcing a referee stoppage. “Smooth” moves on to the Semis, where he’ll meet Shoeface in a striker-vs-grappler showdown.
Heavyweight Semifinal Picture Set
With dominant performances earlier in the evening, Rodrigo Nascimento (12-3) earned a clash with Russia’s Oleg Popov (20-2). Meanwhile, Valentin Moldavsky will take on the always dangerous Alexandr Romanov. The heavyweight bracket is stacked with international talent and former champions, making the June 12 card a must-watch.
