Kweichow Moutai partners with Asian Tour, boosting International Series Japan, Singapore Open, and Hong Kong Open

Kweichow Moutai, China’s leading luxury brand, has made a powerful entrance into the professional golf arena through an ambitious new partnership with the Asian Tour.

In a historic move, Kweichow Moutai becomes the Official Luxury Chinese Baijiu Partner of the Asian Tour, establishing a major presence across the 2025 season.

Their sponsorship will headline three of the region’s biggest tournaments:

  • Presenting Partner for the International Series Japan (May 8–11 at Caledonian Golf Club, Chiba)

  • Title Sponsor of the Moutai Singapore Open (November 6–9 at Singapore Island Country Club)

  • Official Luxury Chinese Baijiu Partner for the Link Hong Kong Open (October 30–November 2 at Hong Kong Golf Club)

Strategic Growth Across Asia’s Top Events

“We share deep values of excellence and prestige with the Asian Tour,” said Huang Jie, Chairman of Guizhou Moutai Chiew.

“Kweichow Moutai is expanding its global footprint, and aligning with these iconic tournaments offers the perfect platform to connect with high-net-worth individuals across Asia and beyond.”

The announcement breathes new life into prestigious tournaments like the Singapore Open, which returns after a three-year hiatus and moves back to its historic home at Singapore Island Country Club for the first time since 2000.

Meanwhile, the International Series Japan marks the Asian Tour’s debut at Caledonian Golf Club, a major step in broadening its reach into new markets.

Asian Tour Welcomes New Era with Kweichow Moutai

Cho Minn Thant, Commissioner & CEO of the Asian Tour, hailed the partnership as a milestone moment:

“Kweichow Moutai is a renowned brand with a proud heritage and ambitious vision. Their partnership will help drive the Asian Tour’s momentum in expanding into new regions and building upon the history of our founding events like the Hong Kong and Singapore Opens.”

“Together, we will target a new demographic of elite, discerning audiences while honoring the traditions of golf.”

The International Series itself continues to grow at a rapid pace, following other major partnerships with DLF (India) and Wynn (Macau) earlier this year.

Reinforcing Asian Golf’s Legacy and Future

The return of the Singapore Open, one of the Asian Tour’s cornerstone events, is highly anticipated. Tan Chong Huat, President of the Singapore Golf Association, emphasized:

“Our National Open is a crown jewel of Singapore sports. With Kweichow Moutai’s dynamic backing, we look forward to a new era of excellence.”

Andy Kwok, Captain of Hong Kong Golf Club, echoed the excitement:

“We are thrilled to welcome Moutai during a time of vibrant growth for the Link Hong Kong Open.”

The Asian Tour’s season continues with the GS Caltex Maekyung Open in Korea, followed by the highly anticipated International Series Japan presented by Moutai — the sixth event on this year’s calendar and third International Series stop.
