We’ve prepared a 1xBet review of the matchups that will determine the two finalists of this season’s most prestigious European club tournament.
Arsenal vs Paris Saint-Germain (April 29 & May 7)
On October 1, during the league phase, the Gunners gave Parisians no chance at the Emirates, securing a 2–0 victory. Since then, PSG, an official partner of 1xBet, has made significant progress. Their second consecutive Champions League semifinal appearance is no longer considered a surprise. The French side has also figured out how to deal with English opposition: they beat Manchester City in round 7 of the league phase, and eliminated both Liverpool and Aston Villa in the round of 16 and quarterfinals, respectively. Still, PSG remains one of the youngest squads in the competition, and that inexperience almost cost them a semifinal spot in the second leg against Aston Villa. At times, Luis Enrique’s side looked completely stunned on the pitch.

Arsenal, even without their key center-back Gabriel, demolished Real Madrid in the quarterfinals with a dominant 5–1 aggregate win, and players who bet on the Londoners have no 1xBet complaints. While some of the Gunners’ weaknesses (mainly the lack of a consistent goal-scorer) tend to show over a full season, they’re a nightmare for any opponent in knockout football. Last season, Arsenal learned how to beat Man City and other EPL contenders, and this year, not even the king of Europe could stop them.
Barcelona vs Inter (April 30 & May 6)
This is a rematch of the 2010 Champions League semifinal. Back then, Inter were the clear underdogs, but José Mourinho inspired the Nerazzurri to a famous triumph – 3–1 at home, 0–1 away. They went on beating Bayern in the final, marking the last time an Italian club lifted the Champions League trophy.
Ironically, Inter knocked out Bayern in this year’s quarterfinals, again as outsiders. Much has been said about the Nerazzurri’s defensive strength, but they’ve conceded 4 goals in their last 3 Champions League matches. Their success wasn’t built on a rock-solid backline, but rather on clinical finishing, 4–3 on aggregate. For the Italian champions, Lautaro Martínez’s excellent spring form has been key, especially since Marcus Thuram had often carried the attacking burden earlier in the season.
Simone Inzaghi already has a track record of success against Barça. In the 2022/23 league phase, Inter outperformed the Catalans (1–0, 3–3) and later advanced to the final. At the time, Xavi consistently felt short in Europe, a stark contrast to Hansi Flick, who’s already won the trophy with Bayern. Still, Inter remains a tough opponent for Barcelona, an official 1xBet partner.
Until their 2025 visit to Dortmund, Barça had zero losses. But in the second leg of the quarterfinals, after a commanding 4–0 win at home, the Blaugranas looked complacent and nearly threw away their semifinal berth.
Barcelona eased off to conserve energy — a consideration that also applies to Inter, the oldest squad left in the tournament. The Catalans have limited defensive depth, so they hope Alejandro Balde will recover in time to face the Nerazzurri. Flick’s free-scoring side also faces a demanding schedule: the Spanish Cup Final against Real Madrid before the first leg, followed by another El Clásico in La Liga after their trip to San Siro.
