In a move that’s sending shockwaves across the world of sports, French football legend Patrice Evra is stepping into a new arena: mixed martial arts. Evra will make his highly anticipated MMA debut at PFL Europe Paris, scheduled for 23 May 2025 at the iconic Accor Arena.
Known for captaining the French national team and winning titles across Europe during his illustrious football career, Evra has long been passionate about combat sports. Since 2016, he has been training alongside MMA stars, including PFL’s own Cédric Doumbé.
“You guys should know by now, I love this game too,” said Evra. “I’ve performed on the world’s biggest stages, but this will be an incredibly special night. I’ve trained with the best, and I’m ready. Come to the Accor Arena and watch the spectacle.”
