AVC rolls out cheaper tickets to energize home fans for quarterfinal clash

In a generous move to thank fans for their passionate support, Sports Vision has announced a significant drop in ticket prices for the quarterfinals of the AVC Women’s Volleyball Champions League, scheduled this Thursday (April 24) and Friday (April 25) at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

The decision was made following strong local turnout during the tournament’s opening three days, with organizers hoping to pack the stands even more as Filipino teams face off against some of Asia’s elite volleyball clubs.

PLDT High Speed Hitters and Creamline Cool Smashers will take the spotlight on Thursday, facing Zhetysu VS of Kazakhstan and Thailand’s Nakhon Ratchasima, respectively. On Friday, Petro Gazz Angels – the reigning PVL All-Filipino Conference champions – will battle Chinese powerhouse Beijing Baic Motor.

Recognizing the invaluable impact of the crowd, dubbed the teams’ “seventh man,” Sports Vision is reducing ticket prices to make the matches even more accessible. Updated ticket prices are as follows:

  • Patron: P1,050

  • Lower Box: P550

  • Upper Box: P150

“This is our way of showing gratitude to Filipino volleyball fans,” said a Sports Vision representative. “Their energy has helped elevate this tournament, and we want to give more people the chance to experience these high-stakes matches.”

With pride, energy, and national representation at stake, the upcoming matches promise electric atmospheres, especially with the local squads looking to defy the odds against taller and more seasoned opponents.
