PFL sets stage for 2025 World Tournament 5 semifinals with loaded main card

The Professional Fighters League has officially announced the main card for the 2025 PFL World Tournament 5: Semifinals, scheduled for Thursday, June 12, at the iconic Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville.

Headlining the event is a Welterweight Semifinal showdown between former Bellator World Champion Jason Jackson (18-5) and unbeaten phenom Thad Jean (9-0). The high-stakes clash will determine who advances to the 2025 PFL World Tournament Finals.

In the co-main event, reigning 2023 PFL Featherweight Champion Jesus Pinedo (24-6) takes on Gabriel Braga (16-2) in their trilogy fight, which also serves as the Featherweight Semifinal.

The main card also features another Welterweight Semifinal bout as former Bellator titleholder Logan Storley (17-3) squares off against Japan’s Masayuki Kikuiri (11-2-1). Undefeated Russian contender Movlid Khaybulaev (22-0-1), the 2021 Featherweight Champion, meets South Korea’s Taekyun Kim (11-1) in the final featured bout of the evening.

Fans in the U.S., Canada, and Europe can watch the fights live on ESPN platforms. Globally, the PFL World Tournament will be streamed in over 190 countries through 20 premium media partners. The league also continues its First Round series with a four-event residency at Universal Studios Florida on April 3, April 11, April 18, and May 1.

The single-elimination format of the 2025 PFL World Tournament spans five months and includes eight weight classes: Heavyweight, Light Heavyweight, Middleweight, Welterweight, Lightweight, Featherweight, Bantamweight, and Women’s Flyweight. A total of 64 fighters will compete in a gauntlet of three fights for a chance to become champion and win the sport’s toughest prize.

Both First Round and Semifinal bouts are scheduled for three, five-minute rounds, while the Finals will be contested over five, five-minute rounds. Elbows are now permitted in all tournament bouts. Over $20 million in prize money will be awarded, including a $500,000 bonus for each tournament winner.
