Carlo “The Bull” Bumina-ang has his next target in sight, and he plans to unleash his full arsenal against the man standing in his way.

The Team Lakay standout returns this Saturday, April 5, when he faces Argentina’s Mauro Mastromarini in the curtain raiser of ONE Fight Night 30: Kryklia vs. Knowles at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Bumina-ang, the first Filipino fighter to win a ONE Championship main roster contract through the ONE Friday Fights circuit, has gained a reputation for his devastating power and ability to finish fights both on the feet and on the ground.

His relentless run in Lumpinee saw him secure five consecutive victories, earning a lucrative $100,000 contract. However, his main roster debut ended in heartbreak when he suffered a last-second loss to Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu.

Despite that setback, “The Bull” refused to be deterred.

Given a veteran in Song Min Jong for his return bout, the Team Lakay fighter wasted no time making a statement. At ONE Fight Night 28, Bumina-ang stormed out of the gates, overwhelming the South Korean with a flurry of strikes to secure a dominant 53-second TKO victory.

Now, against Mastromarini, the Filipino prospect is eyeing another electrifying finish to solidify his place as a rising force in the division.

The matchup promises fireworks, as both Bumina-ang and Mastromarini are known for their aggressive striking. With the electric atmosphere of Lumpinee Stadium, they will be looking to set the tone for an action-packed night.

Headlining the event, Roman Kryklia defends his ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai World Title against Lyndon Knowles, while Regian “The Immortal” Eersel and Alexis Nicolas collide in a highly anticipated ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Championship trilogy bout.

For Bumina-ang, another spectacular victory could be his ticket to even greater opportunities inside the ONE Championship cage.
