A Proven Champion

Beyond MMA, Zamboanga is an accomplished Karate champion who has competed across Asia. He holds a black belt in Sentou Karate and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, further proving his versatility inside the cage. He also holds a gold medal from the PAN Asian No-Gi Grappling Championship, highlighting his well-rounded skill set.

Entering a Stacked Featherweight Division

Zamboanga joins a highly competitive Featherweight division in BRAVE CF, which saw plenty of action in 2024. The current division champion, Nemat Abdrashitov, leads a strong roster that includes top contenders Omar Solomanov, Rauan Bekbolat, and Roman Bogatov. With four wins in his last five fights, Zamboanga is expected to make an immediate impact in the rankings.

Strengthening BRAVE CF’s Philippine Connection

The signing of Drex Zamboanga further strengthens BRAVE CF’s connection with the Philippines. The promotion has a strong history with Filipino fighters, having propelled stars like Stephen Loman, Rolando Dy, and Jeremy Pacatiw to international recognition.

With BRAVE CF continuously expanding its roster, Zamboanga’s arrival sets the stage for an exciting 2025, as he looks to climb the Featherweight ladder and secure a future title shot.
