Jeremy Pacatiw faces tough test against Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu at ONE Fight Night 29

Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw, the fifth-ranked bantamweight contender in ONE Championship, is ready for a fresh challenge after his previous fight was canceled last week. Originally slated to face Ibragim Dauev at ONE Fight Night 28, Pacatiw had to wait when the Russian missed weight by a wide margin. Despite the setback, the 28-year-old from Lions Nation MMA remained focused, waiting for his next opportunity in the cage.

Pacatiw’s patience paid off quickly as he now faces #4-ranked Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu at ONE Fight Night 29, set for March 8 inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. This fight is an important one for Pacatiw as he looks to solidify his place in the bantamweight division and potentially move one step closer to a shot at the ONE Bantamweight World Championship.

“I believe everything happens in God’s perfect timing. My last fight didn’t push through, but I stayed focused and prepared,” Pacatiw shared. “Now I’m grateful for the chance to face a tough Mongolian opponent, and I’ll give my best in the Circle.”

Baatarkhuu, a formidable fighter with a reputation for defeating Filipino competitors, will certainly not make things easy for Pacatiw. The Mongolian has earned four of his five victories in ONE Championship by defeating Filipinos in impressive fashion. His resilience and toughness are key factors in his success, as he has shown the ability to take hard hits and rebound stronger, even in difficult situations.

Currently riding a two-fight win streak, Baatarkhuu is coming off impressive stoppages over Carlo Bumina-ang and Aaron Canarte. Like Pacatiw, the Mongolian fighter is hungry for a third consecutive victory in the promotion.

But for Pacatiw, this fight represents a chance to exact some revenge for the Filipino fighters who have fallen to Baatarkhuu’s hands. With two of the top bantamweight contenders from Lions Nation MMA—Pacatiw and #2-ranked Stephen Loman—now targeting the title held by Fabricio Andrade, the stakes could not be higher.

“The pressure is on, but I’m ready,” Pacatiw said. “I will do my best to stop Baatarkhuu’s winning streak against Filipinos and move closer to a world title shot.”

Fans in the Philippines and around the world will be watching closely as Pacatiw and Baatarkhuu collide at ONE Fight Night 29 in what promises to be an exciting clash of styles.
